View towards the bridge (over the ring road NH-1), leading to the Tibetan Refugee Settlement, Majnu Ka Tilla, New Delhi, India, 2017. The colony is situated in North Delhi, crammed between a motorway and the river Yamuna. According to the Tibetan Welfare Association, around 4000 people live in the colony, that was founded around 1960. MT is somewhat a transit place, for Tibetans and tourists alike, as well as an economic hub. Photo: Christoph Kellner. No reproduction without prior permission.
